The Farmers Market Coalition is the response to requests from a growing industry for more resources, information, and networking opportunities. This resource center is made possible by our members as well as partners in the farmers market community who recognize the value of sharing best practices. Together, we are continually working to document best practices for the benefit of all farmers markets, and we invite you to join the ever-growing collaborative of people submitting tools and resources they have developed or found useful in their farms’ or markets’ operation. Working together, we can improve farmers markets for the benefit of farmers, consumers, and communities.
Connecting with peers in the field of farmers markets has never been easier. Our listserv offers opportunities to ask questions of folks all around the country, and our quarterly newsletter, Peas n’ News, offers you the chance to find out what others are doing to improve their farmers markets. The event calendar is designed to keep you informed about state/regional, or national workshops, conferences, and training opportunities specifically related to farmers markets. We invite organizations planning such events to let us know as far in advance as possible, and we will post them on our master calendar.
